August Kesseler The Daily August Riesling

The fruit for this Riesling by August Kesseler is sourced only out of top-premium vineyard sites in Rheingau. The wine is matured in their cellar which is dug out of the rock.

A Riesling that bursts with flavour. Aromas of lemon, apricot, and passionfruit flood the nose alongside mango, grapefruit, and vineyard peach. It's dry, juicy and refreshingly acidic. It's immensely drinkable! Try with fish, seafood, chicken and turkey dishes or salad. 

When August Kesseler took over the company founded in 1924 by his parents, he was just 19 years old. At the time it consisted of a small 2.5ha large-barrel wine business, and he worked hard to achieve the enviable international reputation he enjoys today. Located in the Pinot Noir heartland of Assmannshäusen, in one of the most prestigious wine growing areas for Riesling - the Rheingau, August Kesseler have some of the best Pinot Noir and Riesling sites that the lower and middle Rheingau have to offer spread over 32.5 hectares.
