Giribaldi Conca d'Oro Nebbiolo D'Alba

The grapes for this delicious wine by Mario Giribaldi come from the vineyards located in an area called "Conca d'Oro" in Montelupo Albese, 1.68 hectare in total. After a 40-day rest in a steel tank it is elevated into barriques for 15 months maintaining the typical characteristics of the grape. The wine is then left to mature in bottle for at least six months. 

Intense ruby in colour with orange reflections. Aromas of rose, raspberry, vanilla and balsamic notes. On tasting, hints of cinnamon and strawberry jam, very balanced tones and excellent persistence on the palate. Dry, full bodied with good mouthfeel and integrated tannins. Try with any red meat or very mature cheese.

The Giribaldi Winery which started in the 20th Century exports 70% of its production all over the world. Its aim is to act as ambassador of the “Langhe” and transmit it’s wine culture, to all continents following an entirely organic system, certified CEE. The Giribaldi winery is a family, not only because Mario, Giovanna, Matteo and Alessandra represent the third and fourth generation of a family that has always dedicated itself to its land, but also because it is family of 10 people who every day, proudly put passion into what they do.
