Great Moor Pinot Noir Precoce

Great Moor is a delicate, fresh and fruity wine with notes of redcurrant and raspberry with beautifully soft tannins. Try with roasted chicken, salmon, lamb, duck, mushrooms or medium soft cheeses such as brie. 

In 2016 the family had the opportunity to buy some land adjacant to their home on the outskirts of Pattingham. A quiet picturesque village, tucked away in the beautiful South Staffordshire countryside. Their land was perfect for growing vines. The south-facing slopes, natural spring water and free-draining sandy top soil, provided  perfect conditions for their vines to flourish. The land itself had only ever been grazed on, having never been exposed to chemicals of any kind, meaning they could create a low impact sustainable approach to wine making in a nature friendly paradise. The Vineyard now produces around 30,000 bottles per year across a variety of superb, award-winning still and sparkling wines.
