IPA Sans Tomate / Lumen

It’s not every year that Sir John unearths gold nuggets, but this year, we’ve stumbled upon a whole mine! Deep in the American Midwest, we fell head over heels for our friends at Lumen Beer Co., a microbrewery in Omaha, Nebraska.

After a fantastic collaboration last winter, we decided to team up again for our anniversary. The result? This tomato-free IPA. No, don’t worry—no fruit was mistreated during the brewing process; and if you’re among those who still believe the tomato is a vegetable, take comfort in knowing the only "vegetable" mistreated during the creation of this beer was our brewer.

This tomato-free IPA is hopped with Citra, Citra Cryo, Citra Hyperboost, Tropical Fusion, Nectaron, and Maui Nelson Hop Kief. The result is a beer that is 100% Sir John: fruity, with notes of stone fruit and complex citrus and tropical aromas, finishing with light resinous notes that evoke the forests of Nebraska!
