Mallee Estate Natural Tempranillo

A medium-full bodied Natural Tempranillo. Aromas of tart cranberries, blackcurrants and cloves. These aromas follow onto the palate with a layer of red cherries. Bright acidity on the finish with soft tannins. Try with charcuterie boards or grilled meats. 

Mallee Estate is an organic and certified sustainable, family owned and run winery, founded by Peter and Eleni Markeas. Their first vineyard of 3 acres of Shiraz, was planted in 1969. Today the estate consists of three vineyards in Renmark which take advantage of the differing soil types  in order to nurture more distinctive grapes for the wines produced. The Estate’s transition to organic and certified sustainable has been all been done under Jim’s stewardship.
