Mallee Estate Sparkling Shiraz

The yields for this Sparkling Shiraz by Mallee Estate have been kept low to ensure intense flavour in the berries and to express the fine terroir. It displays a rich and deep berry colour. The palate shows hints of mulberries, black pepper and subtle vanilla oak complexities. A full bodied sparkling wine that's excellent for sipping on. Try on its own or with charcuterie, cheese and dark chocolate desserts.

Mallee Estate is an organic and certified sustainable, family owned and run winery, founded by Peter and Eleni Markeas. Their first vineyard of 3 acres of Shiraz, was planted in 1969. Today the estate consists of three vineyards in Renmark which take advantage of the differing soil types  in order to nurture more distinctive grapes for the wines produced. The Estate’s transition to organic and certified sustainable has been all been done under Jim’s stewardship.
