Monatic Dark Montepulicano D'Abruzzo

A gorgeous Montepulciano from Novaripa. The grapes are hand-picked, with the juice spending one year in stainless steel and one year in oak barrels.

Deep ruby in colour with rich chocolate and black cherry notes on the nose. A medium-full bodied wine with velvety smooth tannins. Try with rich stews or barbecued meats.

The winery was founded in 1969 as a cooperative of 20 farmers. Today, it has 282 members and 600 hectares of vineyards, all in Abruzzo, a region where 40% of its land is dedicated to wildlife, protected parks, and where stunning beaches blend seamlessly with the mountain landscape.
