Beschreibung

Crafted from Solaris grapes grown on the Nurton Brook site, chosen for its excellent sunlight exposure and natural ripeness. Cool fermentation preserves the grape’s vibrant aromatics and clarity, resulting in a bright, modern English white with real finesse.

Crisp and aromatic with zesty citrus, green apple, pear, and soft tropical hints, lifted by gentle floral notes. The palate is fresh and well‑balanced, offering juicy orchard fruit, subtle herbal touches, and a clean mineral streak. Lively acidity gives the wine a refreshing, mouth‑watering finish. Try with white fish, chicken dishes, light salads, seafood, creamy pasta or soft cheese.

Pattingham Vineyard is a family‑run English winery located on the south‑facing slopes of Pattingham, Staffordshire. The estate was founded by Martin, Jane, and Stevie Wilcox, who purchased land next to their home in 2016 and established the vineyard in 2018. Situated in the South Staffordshire countryside, a quiet, picturesque area ideal for cool‑climate viticulture. The site benefits from south‑facing slopes, natural spring water, and free‑draining sandy topsoil, creating excellent conditions for ripening Solaris and other varieties. The land had only ever been grazed and never chemically treated, allowing the family to pursue a low‑impact, sustainable, nature‑friendly approach to winemaking.
