Beschreibung

The grape variety used is 100% pure Friulano. For vinification, the grapes are delicately destemmed and left to macerate for a short period. They are then softly pressed and the resulting must is clarified by decantation. The must then ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is left on the lees in stainless steel tanks for six months. The bottled wine is typically stored in temperature-controlled rooms for about two months.

A bright yellow colour with beautiful green highlights. The aroma is rich and multifaceted, characterised by floral and tropical notes, including elderberry, flowering ash, and plum blossoms. Alongside gooseberry, kiwi and hints of floral notes, honey, and vanilla ice cream. On the palate notes of apricot, kiwi and cranberry with subtle flavours of almond milk and coriander. Finishing with a light floral, honeyed sweetness. Try with fish dishes, shellfish, fish tartare, veal, white meats or roast beef.

Right on the Slovenian border in North East Italy, 3 brothers (Carlo, Tommaso and Michele) run the Perusini winery. They vinify exclusively grapes from the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC. The estate’s vineyards are located on terraced hillsides. The vineyard makes some of the most elegant, subtle and certainly gastronomic wines you're likely to find.
