Rising River Chardonnay

The fruit is machine harvested from selected vineyards across the Western Cape, once pressed, grapes are fermented with selected yeast strains in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit’s freshness and natural characteristics. The juice is kept on the lees for 6 months before bottling.

Aromas of lemon, grapefruit and orange blossom. The palate is mouth watering and full of juicy grapefruit. The perfect balance of acidity delivers a crisp, refreshing finish.  Dry with good body. Try with salmon dishes or sweet and sour dishes.

The Rising River Wines are inspired by the Franschhoek River that flows through the Franschhoek Valley, encompassing the grand history of its surroundings and celebrating grapes sourced across quality vineyards across the Western Cape. Produced as a diffusion line to the principle Rickety Bridge range, winemaking is overseen by Mari Kotzé.
