Rising River Pinotage
Beschreibung
The fruit is harvested from selected vineyards across the Western Cape. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel with twice daily punching down for maximum extraction of colour and tannins. The wine is matured in old French oak barrels for 12 months before bottling.
A medium bodied wine brimming with fruit. Aromas of blueberry, red cherry and blackberry which follow on to the palate. A lovely wine with soft, rounded tannins. Try with lamb dishes or mushroom pasta.
The Rising River Wines are inspired by the Franschhoek River that flows through the Franschhoek Valley, encompassing the grand history of its surroundings and celebrating grapes sourced across quality vineyards across the Western Cape. Produced as a diffusion line to the principle Rickety Bridge range, winemaking is overseen by Mari Kotzé.
