Rising River Sauvignon Blanc

The fruit is machine harvested from selected vineyards across the Western Cape, once pressed, grapes are fermented with selected yeast strains in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit’s freshness and natural characteristics. The juice is kept on the lees for 6 months before bottling.

Tropical fruit aromas on the nose such as pineapple and melon with a hint of lemon zest for balance. The palate has tropical fruit with a hint of a citrusy note. Balanced acidity leads to a pleasing fresh, dry finish. Try with seafood dishes, light salads or on its own.

The Rising River Wines are inspired by the Franschhoek River that flows through the Franschhoek Valley, encompassing the grand history of its surroundings and celebrating grapes sourced across quality vineyards across the Western Cape. Produced as a diffusion line to the principle Rickety Bridge range, winemaking is overseen by Mari Kotzé.
