Rook en Spieëls Kabbelend Cinsault

This is a deliciously organic Cinsault produced from dry-farmed bush vines on the border of Paarl and Swartland. Low rainfall coupled with the dry farming allows the grapes to develop a superb concentration of flavours.

Bright wild floral notes with juicy cranberries and ripe red cherries. This leads to a palate full of succulent red fruits with a gentle spicy kick on the finish. Subtle dried herbs and earthy minerality add depth. Supple tannins bring everything together. Light enough to enjoy chilled. Try with beef stew, lamb or Moroccan and Lebanese cuisine. 

Rook en Spieëls is a new‑generation South African producer working in a low‑intervention, organic‑leaning style, crafting expressive wines that highlight terroir and texture. They are based in the Western Cape, with vineyard sources in Paarl, Franschhoek, and Wellington. They practice organic and sustainable farming, with low intervention (natural fermentation and minimal manipulation).
