Sundown Chenin Blanc Viognier

Mature vines in South Africa’s Coastal region, mainly Swartland. The warm, dry summers and cool afternoons create ideal ripening conditions for these two grapes while keeping the aromatics locked-in. Made with 80% Chenin Blanc and 20% Viognier. A portion of the Chenin Blanc is wild fermented and left on the lees for depth, texture and richness.

Fresh, bright and bursting with flavour. Opens with delicate floral notes, juicy white peach and a touch of jasmine. The palate is full of zesty citrus and stone fruits lifted by crisp acidity and a clean, mineral edge. Try with some salty crisps, roast chicken or veggie stir-fry.
