With Vinha Maria red the idea was to create a wine with a fresh, modern & juicy profile from one of Portugal’s most traditional wine regions. It's been described as ‘a light Pinot Noir with an Atlantic breeze’ - a testament to its fresh, juicy profile. Made by crushing with total destemming, alcoholic fermentation at 26°C & prolonged skin maceration. 50% is then matured in French oak barrels for 6 Months.

Bright, light red ruby in colour, fresh strawberries and forest bush notes on the nose. A mix of red and forest fruits and some lightly toasted aromas are predominant on the palate with light, balanced tannins. Fruity, silky, elegant and harmonious. Try with Mediterranean platters, tomato salads, roasted peppers, dried meats, canned fish, pizza or tomato-based pasta dishes
